Argyle sent out a plea for a Q this week and YHC jumped at the chance to lead the men of Urban Legend again. It had been awhile since q’ing here but after surviving Dunphy’s tunnel of love the week before, YHC knew something totally different would be in store.
The animated Robin Hood (fox) and Little John (bear) sing the Oo-de-lally song in which they are jumping fences, dodging trees and trying to get away. Well, the UL pax were hurdling lawn mowers, dodging landscapers, and working out to the sweet sound of a 50.2cc, 94 decibel level, 251 mph blowing power dual blowers in the near vicinity…more power AAARRR, AAARRR, AAARRR.
We really did not hurdle lawn mowers or dodge landscapers, but the blowers were freakin’ loud. It was awesome.
1 minute warning, disclaimer, opening prayer.
Mosey to the upper level of parking garage.
SSH x 15 IC, Michael Phelps x 10 IC, TTT x 10 IC, Imperial Walker x 10 IC.
We found a miniature whiteboard on the far end of the parking garage so we decided to partner up and knock it out.
200 American Hammers (2ct)
400 Squats (changed to 200 for sake of time)
P1 starts the exercise while P2 runs down the far ramp through the lower level of the garage and up the other ramp and picks up where P1 left off. Flip flop until reps are completed and begin next exercise.
By the way, I can’t help the size of my whiteboard. I am cheap, it was on sale, if you do not like it then you may buy me a bigger one. Until then, mouth closed and do the reps.
Recover and mosey back to the virtual flag for one final lesson. KD has taught me how to properly lead burpees in cadence and today I added Frozen Freddies to my repertoire. 5 FF’s IC and then Recover.
KD leads stride on Monday, 6/21 – 4 year anniversary for Cheech. No sleeves, leave no doubt.
Voltron taking up collection to help No Show’s family.

Devo: Keep praying because it works. YHC’s pal who had 2nd amputation early in the week has a totally different mindset about his future due to prayer and encouragement from others. He passes on his thanks and asks for us to keep it up. God is good and always listening.
