11 pax came out on Thursday for a Whitney led Q.
Having a 1 month old baby and coming off of a week straight of working the PGA Championship where the days went from a 3am wakeup to leaving the golf course around 9pm every day, YHC almost forgot that I signed up to Q this workout (what was I thinking). So I put this together in the 5 minute drive to Depot in the AM. That just goes to show those of you who haven’t Q’d how easy it is.
Warmup:
TTT – 10
LBAC – FW 8, Reverse 10
In honor of Phil Mickleson winning the PGA Championship and YHC spending some quality time making a hole in the crowd to get him up to 18 green on Sunday – 50 calf raises.
(That’s the face of a man who has worked 120 hours in the week just waiting for some drunk idiot to come at him!)….Anyways…Onto the workout.
Grab a block and head to the top of the driveway in the parking lot.
Do the following:
30 rows
30 curls
30 shoulder press
Backward Lunge down the driveway
Sprint back up the hill
Repeat 25 reps, 20 reps, 15 reps, 10 reps and 5 reps.
When finished, continue on to work with the six until complete.
Once all pax completed, circle up in parking lot WITH your blocks.
30 flutter kick chest presses
20 big boy sit up block presses
Then, because some in attendance were complaining more than Brooks Koepka after the scene on hole 18…
(I’m sure you would’ve felt the same way had you been winning and the crowd did that for you, Brooks….)
…10 block burpees to close it out.
Recover, Recover.

Convergence is coming up. Be there.
Prayer Requests:
Added post-workout. Please keep Uncle Rico and his family in your prayers as they all face a tough road to recovery after a boating accident Friday evening. Especially keep Uncle Rico’s wife Lauren lifted up as she is facing the toughest road.
Short Devotion:
A two minute devotion to close it out. from the first part of Proverbs 18:21 – “The tounge has the power of life and death…”
Your words have a great power, whether good or bad. We should always be slow to speak and eager to listen.
Our words can have a profound impact on others, both positively and negatively. Always remember that before you gossip, gloat, brag etc…
