The morning began like any other in the Midlands…alarm, bathroom, get dressed, start sweating as soon as you open the front door. Wow, was it ever humid this morning. Thank goodness we had an easy route during SL.
3 pax showed up for a light jog this morning, only to be hoodwinked by some nasty hills. Coon Dog sped up like normal, Duff was talking as normal, and YHC was in the rear as normal (TWSS). Pros and cons of not having a watch that track distance, speed, etc. Pros – not having a fancy watch. Cons – nothing. My timex tells perfect time.
We made it back to Shawshank to see 4 more studs awaiting the upcoming fun. Boy, would they be disappointed.

Mosey to the block pile where we used to have a homeless guy sleeping in a tent. Duff swears he was not here, but, he was the Q and pointed a light in the tent, announced someone was in there and yet…he has forgotten all of this. CD, Lego, Garth, and YHC all remember the events of that blessed day. Why Duff has blocked them out, we don’t know. Did he go back to the tent after BC and EH the dude with a little spooning? Probably, but he won’t admit that either.
Anyway, back to today.

We made it half way through round 2 and put blocks up. Return to shelter for 15 step ups each leg and recover.
John Wayne came up again at the shelter. Favorite movie? Probably John Wayne (Love Shack). This guy may be new to the group, but he is pretty dang smart. John Wayne could be the answer to anything.
Well, BC is over and we are now huddled up for name-o-rama.
