This morning has been 4 months in the making and YHC has been looking forward to this day. YHC made his official return to running with the Rooster pax following a hip surgery. The recovery is still ongoing but running is a huge psychological victory. YHC decided to mark the return to running by taking the Q at rooster and posting a time on the “chicken strip”.
YHC arrived early because there was a rumor that a BRR training pax was going to be doing an XL. No pax at the park, so the shovel flag was planted and the long process of lossening/warming up to ran began.
At a few minutes to 5am, 2 additional Pax rolled up (1 rucker and 1 other runner). YHC had announced the route the night before so there was not much discussion about it.
Most of the men of rooster practically jump out of the car before it has come to a complete stop and start running. YHC had something up his sleeve this morning to remedy this.
