12 Pax gathered in the gloom at Jumanji (Howard park in West Columbia) for a beatdown to remember. Unfortunately YHC did not have an opportunity to do any recon but thanks to Google Earth and my redneck roots everything came together nicely. As soon as I saw the oval parking lot beside the middle school on Google Earth the Nascar fan in me screamed out “Gentlemen Start Your Engines!!!!”

BOM led by Take-a-Number
Moleskin:
-This workout was a lot tougher in reality than on paper. Awesome work by the pax including the FNG (Goose) who hung in there for a tough one.
– It was an honor to have led some of the F3 guys I’ve only read about in backblasts. I was definitely nervous stepping up in front of so many veterans.
– Jumanji is a great AO and there are a lot of opportunities for some creative Qs in the future. Thanks for letting me borrow the keys.
-Tclaps to Take-a-Number for once again stepping up and leading the opening prayer and BOM for me.
-We had the honor to name our first FNG at Jumanji. As he was telling us of his occupation in aviation Alter Boy and Pajanimal were furiously googling for a name of a baby animal born at Riverbanks Zoo but to no avail so aviation was the way we went and naturally to Top Gun, hence Goose (also an animal name, perfect)
Announcements:
-Tunnel to Towers 5K tomorrow night. Meeting at the 911 memorial at 6:20pm, race starts at 7. If you are not racing come out and support Tuff Guy as he completes the race in his full Firefighting gear.
-I intended on giving Nailpop some time to give us an update on Walker but confusion on my part and a last minute call for PT test numbers threw me off. Sorry Nailpop, praying hard for Walker and love to hear about the progress.
It was an awesome Q. Hate I had never thought of the NASCAR themed workout! And Southpark in the BB is nothing short of awesome!
