Whatever you want to call today’s version of Scramble, there is no doubt that 11 pax rose from the clutches of the fartsack to take their #DRP.
Conditions: endlessly hot and humid with Florence on the way
The Thang:
YHC did not post the route the day before. From Trenholm Plaza, YHC led the pax up Converse to the intersection of Converse and Wittering. From there the route was announced, and the pax were instructed to put in 30 minutes of work. The route consisted of laps of Converse (down the hill), right on Courtney (up and down), right on Woodleigh (straight up), right on Wittering (flat). The pax put in 3-4 laps of this Bullseye-like route. The pax converged back at the top of Converse, and moseyed back to COT.
COT: YHC forgot to instruct the pax to think about hope while running the route, so YHC gave a quick devotional at COT. The hope is not just everyday hope, but real Christian hope, a defiant hope that can’t be conquered.
