When we say “all paces welcome,” we mean it. We had Pickle and Kukoc representing the 6.5 min/mile pace. Recall and Knozit represented the 8 min/mile pace. Candy Stripe and Meatball represented the high 8s pace. The rest of us were taking it easy at around a 10/min pace. The route had some built in escape routes and mileage additions. Except for Mercy Rule stepping in a hole and sliding head first into the Hendrix asphalt, it was an almost perfect morning at Stride.
