When we say “all paces welcome,” we mean it. We had Pickle and Kukoc representing the 6.5 min/mile pace. Recall and Knozit represented the 8 min/mile pace. Candy Stripe and Meatball represented the high 8s pace. The rest of us were taking it easy at around a 10/min pace. The route had some built in escape routes and mileage additions. Except for Mercy Rule stepping in a hole and sliding head first into the Hendrix asphalt, it was an almost perfect morning at Stride.

-Surely Mercy Rule has some old sliding shorts from back in his D1 days. Bring ’em next time.
-Watch out for that hole on Hendrix close to the intersection at S. Church. Mercy Rule joins Bing in the small fraternity of pax that have taken a dive because of it.
-MR was safe, just under the tag.
-Thanks to MJ, Dunphy, Mercy Rule and Say What for hanging back with the YHC. Good to be running again.
-Enjoyed the cameo from Paper Jam this AM.
