9 PAX made the decision to start off 2019 on a good note, by posting at The Arena. Knowing the PAX were likely still recovering from extra caloric intake over the Christmas season (at least YHC was), YHC attempted to put together a simple, yet challenging workout. It became evident pretty quickly the PAX were more interested in mumblechatter than the workout. The PAX put in some good work and, as always, had a good time doing it. Here’s what went down:

Grab blocks from block pile and head to the basketball courts behind the school for 4 corners
Corner 1: Overhead press with block x 30, then lunge far side of court (without block) to the next goal
Corner 2: Merkins x 30, then inch worm the short side of the court
Corner 3: Squats x 30, then lunge far side of court
Corner 4: Plank Jacks x 30, then inch worm back to blocks
Rinse and repeat, reducing rep at each corner by 1 each lap

Scissors, on my count (legs straight, 6 inches off the ground, arms out to side; at each count, one leg goes to 90 deg and alternate arm reaches for the toe on the leg at 90 deg and hold for next count; alternate legs/arms on the count); count was nice and slow to force PAX to hold the position each time; tried to do a 4-count, which was a mistake; better for the Q to count each rep vs. 4-count
