5 pax – yes only 5 pax took the red pill this morning, braving the pouring rain and making their way to The Castle. Thankfully Jar Jar and Snapchat came visiting, as there were only 3 Castle regulars. I’m assuming everyone else was resting up for tonight’s Christmas Party, so I’m sure there will be a large Castle contingent.

- Little Baby Arm Circles FWD x 10 IC, Rev x 10 IC
- Overhead Arm Claps x 10 IC
- Plank Jacks x 15 IC
It was wet, so lets keep it simple. Head out to SKG dr, up Liberal Hill for a lap around the neighborhood. Stop at each street on the right, perform:
- 5 Burpees
- 10 Lunges
- 15 Squats
Simple yet effective. By my count there were 17 stops total, so we perfomed a total of 85 Burpees, 170 Lunges, 255 Squats. Not bad for a morning’s work. Turns out there were still a few minutes left when we got back to the AO, so head down to the picnic tables:
- 20 Dips IC
- 20 Incline Merkins OYO
Return to the shovel flag, that was it. #Tclaps for those pax that made it out. Work was done for sure, and merlot was spilled (a Castle first??). Additional Tclaps to Katniss for getting his feet wet and still surviving the workout! If you’re going to get up to workout in the pouring rain on a December Friday morning, might as well make it worth it.
