32 strong met at #Brickpile for the virgin Q of Cheesy. Halfway through the “reward challenge race” was presented with Team Logo/Murray Street prevailing by a squat over Team Cheesy/Kline Street.
Conditions: Cool 72, with relatively low humidity, #shocktothesystem
Warmup in Parking Lot:
SSH x 25
IW x 20
High Knees x 20
Mt. Climber x 20
Form up Indian Run Lines and proceed to Daly/Kline Street Intersection.
Keeping lines form two groups and start the reward challenge…
Pain Station (single count) in unison (5x total):
Logo’s/ Murray Street group runs down Murray Street with 3 pain stations then proceed up and down Berkley hill for 2 more pain stations.
Cheesy’s/ Kline Street group runs down Kline Street (shout out to old neighborhood) with 3 pain stations then proceed up and down Adger Hill for 2 more pain stations.
Winner was promised a reward at the end. Cheesy’s group jumped out to an early lead but the close pack of Logo’s group won out in the end. Cheesy produced hidden “reward” in the form of water/Gatorade stashed in Noodle top yard/bushes. Cheesy’s group then had to run back down and up Adger Hill as losers and Logo’s group got to partake of the reward. In true F3 fashion Logo’s group threw down their water and started flutters until the whole Pax assembled. #F3counts
Switch Hills run down, lunge walk half way, sprint to top, IW x25
Switch Hills and repeat
Indiana Run back to Hollywood Squares
People’s Chair to finish out.
BOM- Closed out by Cheesy
Big shout-out to Logo’s group for independently calling out Flutters while losers ran down hill. #Paxstaystogether
After first set of squats the question was raised if Cheesy participated in the Kettlehell workout ( I was there!) #areyoucrazy, #thishurts
The refreshments were a hit but to raise the bar it was recommended that a Saturday workout could involve adult Coke-Colas and Red Bull. #kimjunghappyhourpush
I enjoyed the Q and will be back for more #step-up

- Robber has offered to head up or F3 Foundation efforts. Chaser has agreed to head up 3rd F efforts. If you would like to assist with either of these areas, please get in contact with Robber and Chaser. Email [email protected] if you need their info.
- #Amble will henceforth meet at the Owens Field Track every Monday. While many have requested further use of Owens Field, coordination of only sporadic use of that facility has caused some frustration. As such, #Amble will begin meeting at Owens Field Track every Monday for speed work.
- A group including Fountain Head, Chaser, Fannie, Sway, and SubPrime are planning to train for and run in the Governor’s Cup Half-Marathon. The race is Nov. 9th (Gamecock open date) and if we get 10 (hopefully we’ll blow past that number) we will be eligible for the group discount. Please let us know if you are interested. We’d like to see solid F3 Columbia representation.
