13 PAX converged on Hammer on a beautiful February morning ready to work. YHC wanted to make sure the PAX were not just glamor muscles, so a strong leg-focused workout was in order.
Conditions: 52 and calm (can’t beat that in February)
The Thang:
Warmup-
10 SSH IC
10 merkins IC
10 BBS OYO
10 lunges IC
Mosey to the playground to take advantage of the equipment for some circuit work.
10 pull-ups
20 box jumps
30 LBCs
Rinse and repeat x 3
On the way to the bus loop, not wanting to let a good wall go to waste, the PAX had a minute of air chair on the side of the building.
At the bus loop, partners were selected to alternate bus lap loops and various alternating exercises while waiting.
Lap 1: 10 merkins, 10 squats
Lap 2: 10 Carolina dry docks, 10 lunges
Lap 3: 10 BBS, 10 flutter kicks
Lap 4: 10 heel-tap crunches, 10 Freddy Mercury’s
Finally, the PAX made their way to the bottom of Briarfield hill for some #crowdpleaser hill suicides. 3 sets were completed, with 20 flutter kicks IC after each one. Great effort was given by all PAX, after which the mosey back to the flag completed the workout.
