Craps Workout

Weather Conditions: 38°

9 Pax took a huge gamble waking up before the sun and venturing out into the cold this morning, and were greatly rewarded for their efforts.  All were treated to a modified game of Craps which featured a select few exercises and lot of mumble chatter.  If we only measured success through dice roll outcomes, then we had a bunch of losers, however this is F3 and a bad dice roll outcome meant we all won by getting better physically!  In the end the rules were still unclear (trend for YHC), but everyone stayed warm.  As for the workout, here is how it went:

First Roll (Outcome and Exercise for All Pax)
   • 7 or 11 (Winner) – x10 OHC
   • 2, 3, or 12 (Crap Out) – x10 Burpees
   • Any other number rolled becomes the Point Number for that turn

Once the Point Number is determined, the same Pax continues to roll until they either roll the Point Number again (Winner x10 OHC) or roll a 7 (Loser x10 Burpees).  Other exercises assigned to the dice value of each ensuing roll:
2 – x10 Decline Merkins
3 – x10 Box Jumps
4 – x10 Smurf Jacks
5 – x10 Jump Squats (for Ken Doll)
6 – x10 Merkins

9 – x10 Merkins
10 – x10 Smurf Jacks
11 – x10 Box Jumps
12 – x10 Decline Merkins

**PLANNED BUT NOT INCLUDED IN WORKOUT**(Instruction game was weak)
Pax are given an equal number of chips/cards to wager.  Each Pax must ante at least one chip/card prior to the first roll, and then have the opportunity to increase their bet immediately following the first roll.
Buy Back In – x10 Man Makers = 5 chips/cards
At the end of the game, the Pax with the highest count of chips/cards has x1 Burpee.  Each next highest count adds x1 Burpees to their total.

BOM

This morning ended up being a lot of fun for YHC.  It started with a great message from Ken Doll at the Rock discussing James 1: 2-8, patience and wisdom.  Also, Bing made his long awaited return wearing the famous orange shorts.  The workout itself was slightly confusing and Ponzi may or may not have given it 100% approval but the mumble chatter was top notch.  YHC always enjoys leading the men of the Shank, even if efforts toward creativity often end in near disaster!  But, it looked good on paper!

Devo:  Small action, radical results

When people think about traveling back to the past, they worry about radically changing the present by doing something small, but barely anyone in the present really things they can radically change the future by doing something small today.

What small action can you take or start today for yourself, your family, your work, your community, etc. to help bring positive change in the future?
