Snakepit faced some hard questions this morning!

YHC had Q’d at CAT earlier in the week during their April Trivia Q month.  We made it through about half the “are you smarter than a 5th grader” questions I had prepared.  So for today’s Q at Snakepit, I figured we’d pick up where CAT left off.  There was 1 for SL and 1 for RL this morning putting in some extra work.  Weather was nice and cool.

1 minute warning, intro, disclaimer, prayer, (no FNGs)

Mosey a short distance to warmup in the parking lot (something tells me the Snakepit guys didn’t want to run too far).  We warmed up with…

  • 15x Imperial Walkers IC
  • 15x Michael Phelps IC
  • 15x Air Squats IC
  • 15x Hillbillies IC

Mosey back to the school for the workout…

We played “are you smarter than a 5th grader”.  There were sets of 5 questions, from grades 1 through 5, from 5 subjects.  There was a “house” set of exercises with “penalty reps” added for wrong answers.  So we would do 5 questions, exercise, and repeat.  If I recall correctly, we went through the following:

  • 1st grade Science
  • 2nd grade Science
  • 3rd grade Science
  • 2nd grade Mathematics
  • 3rd grade Mathematics
  • 4th grade History
  • 5th grade History
  • 1st grade English and Literature
  • 5th grade English and Literature
  • 3rd grade Geography
  • 4th grade Geography

The exercises were based on the grade level:

  • 1st grade – 5 reps of 25′ bear crawl out and craw bear back, plus 1 rep for each incorrect answer
  • 2nd grade – 10 burpees, plus 2 for each incorrect answer
  • 3rd grade – 15 Bobby Hurleys, plus 3 for each incorrect answer
  • 4th grade – 20 merkins, plus 4 for each incorrect answer
  • 5th grade – 25 flutter kicks (4 count), plus 5 for each incorrect answer

As an extra challenge, on the last round of questions the pax had to answer standing on one foot.

We finished up with the pax reading off some random trivia as YHC went to get his phone.  At the shovel flag we embraced the count-o-rama, name-o-rama, announcements, and prayer.
