Concerned about the weather ruining our plans but drizzle remained minimal for YHC’s VQ. Had a number of plans and a deck of cards was a casualty the cause. 13 Pax for a round of luck 4-Corners style.

Opening Prayer

Started by Moseying to the practice field where we grabbed some blocks for the 4th station as YHC wasn’t fast enough in getting everything in place before the muster. Then we circled up for 10x 4-Count Squats, 4-Count Windmills, 4-Count Imperial Walkers, and 30x 4-Count LBAC at record pace.

Mosied down the track to Station 1 where YHC explained all the details of each station and check for questions before dropping the gate of the mass of men. The first round went a little rough with everyone trying to start but everyone got spaced out nicely after that. May be worth doing in groups in the future to cut down on bogging down with too many people. 

 

Station 1:

Deck of Many Things:

Draw a card from the deck and do the corresponding workout from below for the reps that correspond to the value of the card:

♦: 4-count Mountain Climbers

♠: Burpees

♣: 2-Count Bonnie Blairs

 

2-10: That many reps

Jack: 11

Queen: 12

Station 2:

Hell Hill:

Roll the 2 dice at the base of the hill. You will do the corresponding exercise (D4) up the hill, and that many reps (D20) at the top. Then run to the next station. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THE EXERCISE GOING BACK DOWN!

1: Imperial Walkers / Big Boy Sit-ups

2: Broad Jumps / 2-Count American Hammers

3: Bear Crawls / Jump Squats

4: Inchworms / 4-Count Plank Jack

 

Station 3:

Brick It Down:

Roll the 2 dice and do the corresponding workout (D4) for that many reps (D20) with the bricks.

Many rounds of inchworm party later, we return blocks and bricks and mosey back to flag.
