Launches are always fun. This one, for YHC, was particularly fun because this AO has a little different flavor than our other bootcamps. The idea behind this one is we’re not beholden to the confines of a school of park. We can roam anywhere in town that 45 minutes will allow.
31 pax that posted were able to run 2 miles, while fitting in their fair share of burpees, jump squats, merkins, & box jumps. Hard work was done. Thanks to the men of F3LexSC for making this launch a success.
This is our regions’ 35th active AO & 18th active bootcamp.
Conditions: 35 degrees, a little windy

-A little background on the birth of this AO: Mac & YHC used to run Stride together a lot & we’d talk about all the fun a bootcamp could have around the Main Street area. From Butler St, to Icehouse, etc, so much to do. After thinking about it for over 2 years, Ranger gave YHC permission to launch it. We needed a Friday bootcamp option anyway. Why not do something a little different. By the way, Mac always wanted to name it Iron Maiden.
-So much fun to be had all over town. Sign up to Q & get creative. Just bring the pain.
-Tclaps to Dirty Bird. We all know he’s a beast. But, the non-runner kicked a bootcamp where we traveled 2 miles in the teeth.
-Safety will ALWAYS be of utmost importance at this AO. Crossing streets will be hard to avoid. Thanks to all the pax that played traffic cop this AM
-Hairy Bison likely kept a few pax away this AM. Hope to see everyone for the 2nd edition next week. Ranger will be our Q. Easy day. Post anyway.
-Mumblechatter tie this AM between Notebook & Spackle. Their shtick never changes but it’s mostly funny.
-Early leaders for AO name: Dispatch, F-Works, Main Street, Road Rash, City Haul, Playground, Urban Legend, Concrere Jungle, Iron Maiden. Keep the names coming. The pax will decide (although YHC counts the votes)
