The Circuit:

YHC was asked to swap my Thursday Q for Tuesday, so had to grab one from the file.  This was the first workout I had done at The Stand after moving from Snakepit. I modified it a little after that first experience and added some favorites that we didn’t have before.  Basically, it’s walking from light pole to light pole, stopping at each one to spell out “The Stand” with exercises from the Lexicon.

Mosey to the block pile and grab a coupon. Curls for the Gurls on our way to the first light pole.

T: “Tony Hawk Burpees” (10 i.c.) Basically a burpee with a 360-degree spin at the end. Katniss did a good job of getting the full 360 move with some beautiful pirouettes, landing on one foot, but most of us could only get 270 degrees out of our jumps.

Overhead presses to the next pole.

H: “Hillbillies” (10 i.c.)

Tricep Extensions to the next pole.

E: “E2K” (10 OYO) YHC has trouble counting cadence for ab exercises….

Front Carry to the next pole.

S: “Sweat Angels” (10 i.c.)

Curls for the Gurls to the next pole.

T: “John Travolta’s” (5 i.c. each arm)

Overhead Press to the next pole.

A: “Arnold Fonda’s” (5 i.c. each leg)  This Evil Ebert invention was a new addition and is one of my favorites

Tricep Extensions to the next pole.

N: “Not so Lazy Boys” (5 second count, 5 reps)

Front Carry to the next pole.

D: “Double Merkin Burpees” (10 OYO)

We still had time left, so rinsed and repeated, heading back toward the flag. We managed to get to “John Travolta’s” again before I had to call time. We carried the blocks back to the pile and circled up at the flag.
