Weather was a brisk 64 degrees with 87% Humidity
Disclaimer was followed by prayer and the workout began promptly at 05:15.
Mosey around the parking lot to the front of the school yard where the warm-up commenced and consisted of the following exercises:
- SSH (now dubbed Rumble Strip Hops) X 15 (IC)
- Imperial Walkers X 15 (IC)
- TTT X 15 (IC)
- Merkins X 10 (IC)
- Flutter kicks X 15 (IC)
- Windmill X 15 (IC)
- Arm circles X 10 (each direction)(IC)
- Jump rope X 15 (IC)
The PAX then began the counter-clockwise rotation towards the back of the yard to begin the first revolution of the course dubbed “Stairway to Heaven”. First exercise was lunges over the bridge and the herd then proceeded to hit every step between there and map where they assembled in a plank position around the map.
Map exercises consisted of the following exercises done in cadence and the count increased by one at each course revolution.
- Mountain Merkins x10 (IC)
- LBC x10 (IC)
- Squats x10 (IC)
From the map, the PAX continued counter-clockwise where no step was left untouched and they ended up at the front of the campus. Three course revolutions were completed and the PAX gathered around the flagpole. YHC incorporated music into the workout in an effort to decrease mumble chatter and increase motivation but was unable to tell exactly which desired effect was achieved. Regardless, it was a good time and all men worked hard together.
