Cougars, Blocks, Stars, and Mars

Eight pax discussed astronomy, wildlife biology, and the finer points of how chess pieces move. Bonus points for anyone who can tell the Q what “en passant” means in chess? No googling. The pax discussed the brightness of Mars in the morning sky. Interesting fact, Mars is the only planet in our solar system inhabited exclusively by robots. Seriously. Look it up. Near the end of our time together, we had what was possibly a cougar sighting. In this instance, we’re not referencing Demi Moore although that would not have been altogether bad. But rather an actual cougar. Upon closer inspection that pax agreed it was more likely a cat with diabetes.
