Boo Boo Visits Graveyard

One of my goals for this year was to visit 12 different AOs so I’ve been trying to travel a little more and visit brothers at other locations.  I’ve Q’d at Graveyard before so I knew what I was in for and these guys did not disappoint – the laughter is always as good as the workout at this place.  Floppy even turned on the lights for us, what a #HIM. Here’s how it went:

Weather: 60 degrees and about 3% visibility because of the fog

Mosey down to field for a warm up

TTT x 20

SSH x 20

Windmill x 10

LBAC forward x 10, reverse x 10

IW x 20 (Note: if you do IWs really fast, the stadium lights will come on, try it some time)

Mosey across the field in the most efficient way possible and up the stairs to get some blocks.  Mosey back down to field.

Starting in the corner on the home side of the stadium, closest to the road, do 1 six count manmaker.

Mosey on the concrete path around the field to the 50 yard line and do 5 squats.

Lunge across the field to the concrete path on the other side and do 5 block merkins.

Walk towards the goal line on the concrete path and in that corner do 5 front arm raises.

Backpedal parallel to the end zone to return to the original corner and do 2 six count manmakers.

Repeat, adding 5 reps/1 manmaker for each lap.  We did 4 laps. Great work was done by all.  Soccer dudes were starting practice so we head off the field and up the stairs to do some stadium steps.  Bulldog claims they were “too wet to be safe” but me thinks he was scared of the steps…regardless, instead of stadium steps we modified the weinke.  We ran suicides using the columns on the press box as turn around points. Lots of speed and lots of congestion here but work was done none the less.

Grab your block and lunge from trash can closest to light pole to furthest trash can.

Put blocks away and perform one Ring of Fire – everyone planks and one by one the PAX perform 5 merkins.  Mosey back to the shovel flag and according to Floppy, we had 5 minutes left so another Ring of Fire was in order.

If you’ve never been to Graveyard, definitely get over there.  One of a kind experience with some top notch guys.  If you’ve never had the pleasure of working out with Flackle (Floppy-Spackle duo), those guys are something else and will have you rolling.  Fun morning with these guys, really enjoyed it!

Devo: no verse, just be intentional with your wife/friends/brothers/etc..  I know I’m bad about it and am one of those people that can pick up with a friend after not seeing them for two years and be fine.  Some people aren’t like that.  Be intentional in the ways that you treat people and you never know where it might lead.
