The Thang: Mosey to blockpile, grab a block, head to RBHS stadium… on the way YHC inquired about the gate to the stadium and Chum says “Oh you need a key for that!”.. and I said nah… really??? You’re kidding… and then he said “Ok we will see when we get there!” After that I began to wonder if he was just trying to sabotage my Q or was he really telling the truth. He said “I know where the key is… it is hanging back on the shovel flag” So YHC moseyed back to the flag while the rest of the 8 PAX did AMRAP merkins. On my way back I noticed that some were modifying… ok almost all were modifying. Anyway, we proceeded to stroll to the stadium with our blocks. Warm up included TTT and LBAC. Enter stadium gates, stroll through endzone and start climbing stairs. Climb to top with block overhead or anyway you can get it to the top, 10 merkins on block, head back down and do 10 incline merkins, back up to top 20 squats, back down 20 dips, back up top 30 side straddle hops OYO. Wait for 6 and head up to pressbox. Inchworm across the top (thanks to Rocking Chair for the idea). Head back down and take block down to the field. We saw the Graveyard boys doing their circle run around the field heading for warmup so we stopped and sent some in cadence Monkey Humpers their way… you’re welcome men! Mosey back to blockpile, 20 in cadence flutter kicks, countarama, prayers, pledge of allegiance to the flag, announcements, the Lord’s Prayer, BOM.
Prayers/Praises: POTUS’ boss cancer free and going back to Wilmington, Pray for Jaws/Finley, Blindside – Maggie has been seizure free for 2 months! PRAISE THE LORD. This is great news…. Say What – prayer request for marriages… we all need to pray for and with our wives!!! Men this is muy importante!!! Do it and watch your marriage change for the better. Listen, don’t try to fix your marriage problems. Focus on your wife’s primary love language. DEVO: Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” As men we focus on work, making money, providing for our families, but sometimes we lose the joy the Lord has for us in our daily lives.
