What A Day At Depot!

21 PAX said, “Screw sleeping in, imma get up and hang with my homies!” The reward was great.

We had 21 PAX. We had the return of some #lostsouls (just another cool way of saying we gave #kotters to several that we hadn’t seen in a while). We had an FNG. We ran some miles mixed in with the workout. We had a visit from the LM Nan’tan. And we had a change of guard of the AOQa+b (patent pending).

Disclaimer. Very important. Always give the disclaimer. You never know who is going to trip on a pebble, dirty up their new Skelefish shirt, and then try and take the Q to court. The disclaimer is like your ‘Get Out Of Jail Free’ card. So when some joker tries to sue you, you’ll be all like, “Boom! Disclaimer, sucka!” And all will be right with the world.

Seriously, people. What is up with not being able to stay in place while jumping up and down? You yahoos always find some way to end up 30 feet from where you started after like 10 SSH’s. Let’s work on focus and maintaining your footprint of space. You don’t want a back injury hitting the car behind you, and the guy next to you doesn’t need you infringing on his personal space. Let’s work on that.

I love this part. Absolutely – love it! “If you recover before I say, ‘recover’, 20 Merkin penalty.” I love it because you know it’s coming. You were warned the night before. I warn you the morning of. People remind you. And yet I catch someone. Every. Single. Time. It’s like a game now. I love making you guys do Merkins. Your arms will get bigger and you’ll thank me later for all this misery you’re being put through. #SwoleTrain

Welcome Giancarrrrrlo (be sure to roll your r’s). I spent time getting to know Giancarlo during the workout, because I’m a good Q like that. Giancarlo grew up in Puerto Rico. He spent time in the Air Force and Army in the communication’s field. He works at Michelin. And he has an accent that makes you want some mofongo y una cerveza.

Stage Coach and Arrears have piqued and tapped themselves out. The rein of fabulous hair, Republican agendas, and the great Trump wall debate are over. The coal shovel to keep the Depot train going has been passed on to Pothole (yeah, I’m referring to myself in the 3rd person) and Soft Toss. The no-hair duo are about to take the #SwoleTrain to Swagtown. Get on-board peeps.
