Feels like home again

Weather – mid 70’s and humid

So it feels that it was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away since the last time the PAX of Clash hit the field.  With all the closer contact we have for frisbee and futbal, Pepto had decided that we needed to wait it out a little longer with all the mess going on.  So when it was decided that Clash reopen, YHC was excited to get things back going again.  And why not do it in the biggest way possible…..futbol with the lights at Riverland Hills!!!!

As usual for Clash….here are the highlights!!

  1.  While we were gone, you can tell some PAX still practiced….or never lost their step.  Pinot and Bonzi brought their fast footwork and it showed.  Even though we switched a player every 10 minutes, those two were MVP’s for their respective teams….or co MVP’s when they were on the same team.
  2. It was great to see some of the one on one match ups that happened during the course of play.  Double Fault vs either Penny Stock or Steel Toe were a thing of beauty.  Of course, playing at River Bluff, you never saw it anyway…..so it really was like taking it in for the first time.
  3. Shag had his battles too…..except it was with the goal itself.  You can count on two hands the shots on goal that were juuuuuust a bit outside.  But it did feel home again when, in Shag fashion, a goal celebration occurred and he pulled his shirt over his head.

Prayer request – Shag is expecting!!!!  (or at least his wife is)

Will be at the church next week for frisbee!!!
