Devo;

From Rick Warren’s Daily Devotions on September 25, YHC was really impacted by the title “Jesus turns your ‘Hopeless End’ into ‘Endless Hope’ and the scripture from 2 Corinthians 1:9-10 “This happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.  He delivered us… and he will deliver us again.  on him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us”.  When YHC went on the extended road trip, it was to sort out the tremendous changes in YHC’s life, having a wife of 32 years who died after a nine year battle with breast cancer and retiring from a career in pediatric oncology in the past seven months.  YHC has felt like YHC had hit a dead end literally and figuratively.  But God spoke clearly into YHC’s heart that he would use his power in my life, the same power that raised the dead and forgave my sin.  He allowed YHC’s situation to happen, he will take care of it according to his riches and glory.  Unfortunately, YHC was totally unable to articulate this at the devo time but here it is in writing.

Moleskin: YHC is eternally grateful for all the support my Speed Trap and Roost brothers have given me over the last three and a half years since YHC joined F3.  The past year and a half have been particularly challenging.  The tweets, texts, words of encouragement and prayers have been life sustaining for YHC, helping me get through times when YHC wasn’t sure I could put one foot in front of the other.  You have encouraged this old guy to press on and see what God has in store.

Aye!
