Almost 1 year ago, F3 Columbia conducted their first custom GORUCK Tough/Challenge and ever since men of F3 have been participating in GORUCK events from Lights to Heavies. Now, we have guys prepping for all of the above and even taking on HCL’s (Heavy, Challenge, Light) back-to-back-to-back. All that to say, F3 and GORCUK have become like peas and carrots in many ways so why not establish a regular workout dedicated to specific training for these brutal events?

Conditions: 65 and wet
The Thang: All pax wearing weighted rucks
Merkins IC x 10
Squats IC x 25
Flutter Kicks IC x 25
8-count BB IC x 10
Line up at goal line
Bear crawl 20 yards
Crab walk back
Lunge walk 20 yards and back
Pick up 1 log (soaked weighing 3 times normal, surprise!) and 1 60lbs sand bag
Carry rucks and coupons toward front of Dreher, realize too few pax/time for soaked log.
Log PT – curls for girls x 10
Carry log around school
Carry sandbags at mosey around football equipment x 2
Low bear crawl under equipment x 2
Rinse and repeat

YHC is excited to launch this workout. Having just completed the Halloween Tough, YHC realized that training without brothers does not get the job done.YHC was still feeling the pain from the event this morning.
This workout will most focus more on coupon carrying and rucking under more weight going forward. Lots of guys are signed up for various events, so come join us. It is not too early to begin getting ready if you want to thrive. We meet every Wednesday at Brickpile: 5:30-6:15am.
