Woodshed 3 year anniversary-Axe traffic jam

It’s hard to believe that Woodshed has been around for three years now.  YHC got the invite to come out just a few weeks after its founding and I was hooked.

After the disclaimer YHC turned things over to a former Shed AOQ Pondo.  With Weinke in hand Pondo took the Pax out to the playground for a warmup.  The warmup was the exact set Heehaw took us through during the launch and it went like this…….

30ssh IC, 5 burpees oyo, 30 squats, 5 burpees oyo, 40 flutter kicks, 25 baby arm circles forward, 25 reverse, 5 burpees oyo, 20 mountain climbers IC, high plank, star fish right then left, low plank then extended plank….nice warm up but complaints noted about the super slow cadence.

Silverbullet takes over to explain the Axe-our bimonthly PT test limited this time to 3 laps or 15 minutes.   The Pax go all out and we learned that 3 tires are not enough for 30 men!  We had a traffic jam and had to improvise to keep things moving.  While waiting for your turn with the sledgehammer it was wise to do your squats and sit-ups.    Next convergence we will have a few more tires.

Shadetree takes over next to lead two rounds of clockwork merlons    YHC closes it out around the circus (the launch used the baseball field) with 10 burpees-lap, then 20 big boy sit-ups  , lap then 30 merkins, lap then 40 Russian twists as time ran out.  Serena closes with prayer.  Coffee, doughnuts and cake were available and enjoyed.   Thanks to all our visitors.  Kotters Reststop.
