FUN WITH LOGS & STADIUM BLEACHERS….

Fun with logs has become a last bootcamp day of the month thing…or, YHC has made it a thing.  Can’t really tell if the PAX enjoy this one or not…but it’s a solid workout and by the 4th rotation, muscles are weak, sweat has occurred, and the black lines on the bleacher stairwells are blurry when looking down at them.  Here’s what we got accomplished this morning.

Conditions:  29 degrees with a real feel of 32 degrees and thank goodness, No Wind!

The Thang:

Circle up on field by stadium bleacher entrance on Home side of the field.

SSHs x 20 IC while waiting for PAX#9 to show…otherwise known as Floppy Disk!

Partner up (Toe Ring/Bulldog, Hopper/Digger, Spackle/Mid-Range, Floppy/Rebar/Whisper).

First pair run up stadium bleachers to first log.  A log is at the top of each stairwell (8 total stairwells).  Each pair/trio is responsible for 10 alternating shoulder press with the log.  Run to next log.  10 more presses.  run down even numbered stairwells and back up next stairwell.  A total of 80 log presses for Rotation #1.  After the last set of log presses, each pair/trio ran to rear stadium stairs and AMRAP concrete block overhead presses until the next pair/trio got to them.  Finish up the rotation by running down those stairs and down the home sideline and back up to stairwell 1 where we started.

2nd rotation consisted of 10 log curls for a total of 80 and then block curls AMRAP until next party arrived to the blocks.

3rd rotation consisted of 10 seated chest press with the logs for a total of 80 chest press and then block chest press AMRAP until next party arrived to the blocks.

Final rotation consisted of static log press while completing 10 Iron Crosses for a total of 80 Iron Crosses…then block press Iron Crosses AMRAP until next party arrived to the blocks.  This worked out perfectly with time as we were able to get thru 4 rotations in time to put up the logs and blocks and return to the SF.

Appreciate all you dudes coming out today.  Tunes provided were rocking hits of the 60s.
