Its time for the 2015 Hurricane Hike in Camden. This is a great opportunity for any Ruckers to get some distance under weight and also enjoy some good Food, music and other entertainment.

The Website says that the Guard needs to be there by 7:15 for weigh in so we will as well. We can Clown Car from Dreher or you can drive yourself. Be at Dreher by 6:30 if you want to ride up together.
Registration is $10.00 and will include a T-shirt. Click the link on the website to be taken to strictly running and you can register there. Last Day to Register is 9/18.

We had a tremendous turnout last year and expect an even larger participation for 2015. Pictures of the 2014 event are posted HERE.
The 2015 State Guard Hurricane hike will once again be held in Camden, S.C. on 19 September. This year’s 10k hike will be officially sanctioned and official times will be posted. There will be a $10 entry fee for non-guardsmen. Everyone is required to register (link provided below). A link to download the course map is also provided.

Start Time:
Guardsmen are required to be at the starting area NLT 07:15 for pack weigh-in and formation.
Equipment:
45 lb pack, ACU boots, trousers, cover, desert t-shirt, and hydration system. An event t-shirt will also be provided and worn optionally.
