As one of Columbia’s oldest neighborhoods it seems only fitting that the F3 Shovel Flag be planted firmly in the grounds of Shandon. Hand Middle School provides the perfect AO (Area of Operations) for the ever-expanding F3Columbia and Tuesday, August 27 marks the #BigBang for our newest bootcamp workout site. The site will be referred to as #Thunder, inspired by Shandon Fire Station’s logo: “Engine 9: Devine Thunder.”
When: Tuesday, August 27; 5:45-6:30 AM (this is a Tuesday/Thursday workout site)
Where: Hand Middle School (#Thunder); 2600 Wheat Street (meet behind the school off King Street)
The immediate goal for Hand is to draw down the explosive workout attendance at #Brickpile (Dreher High School) so all of Columbia’s workouts run as smoothly as possible. Long-term, however, this expansion is yet another step forward in the growth of F3Columbia. We believe Shandon provides the natural backdrop for many #FNG’s (Friendly New Guys) to come learn why this movement is so special.
Workouts will run Tuesday/Thursday from 5:45-6:30 and everyone is encouraged to attend. Parking is located off of King Street behind the school. Depending on logistics we may eventually move parking to the road on King Street.
New grounds, streets, and challenges await at F3Columbia’s #Thunder and YHC (Your Humbled Correspondent) knows the potential is limitless. Please join us Tuesday, August 27th!
