Today’s Saturdayvergence workout was #ForHudson

There was a call from F3Nation to support our F3 brother Nomad who recently lost his 5 month old son Hudson. Read about it here… https://twitter.com/F3NWArkansas/status/1316027761660628996

So we completed the tribute challenge today for support of Nomad and his family.  8 PAX from several AOs were in attendance.  Weather was chilly but that quickly changed once we began.

  • 1 minute warning, intro, no FNGs, disclaimer, prayer

Mosey towards the band field entrance for some warm up exercises…

  • 10x Michael Phelps IC
  • 10x Monkey Humpers IC
  • 10x 4c Flutterkicks IC
  • 10x Merkins OYO

Follow me to the blockpile, grab one, and continue into the courtyard.  The courtyard provided a little light and blocked the wind a little.  We completed the tribute challenge below.  That took us to the 1 hour mark once the blocks were returned…

  • 5 Sets
    • 8x Hand Release Burpees
    • 21x Upright Rows
    • 4x Dan Taylors
    • 19x Spiderman Merkins
    • 15x Outlaws each way
    • 14x No Surrenders
    • 418m mosey around the parking lot

Each exercise was from the letters of HUDSON.  The reps were the number that letter is in the alphabet. Hudson was born on 4/18.  There were 5 sets since Hudson was 5 months old.  More info on the link above.

  • Gauntlet starts next week.
  • Cheech 10k in November
  • No official Christmas party, so we’ll try to do local gatherings

Prayer request:

  • Notebook – surgery next Tuesday
  • Mercy Rule – sister going through divorce
  • Country
