Tabata workout in the rain

Forecast was for rain, but it was perfectly timed to only rain when we were under the shelter today. Thank you Lord for all the little things you do!

73 degrees and 98% humidity.

We started with our Lord’s prayer and the pledge of allegiance.  We then ran around the back of the school.

Circle up. 25 SSH, 15 TTT, 15 windmills

Run to other end of school

10 burpees

25 murkins

30 Squats

Run to front of school

20 pendulum planks

up dog for 1 minute

down dog for 1 minute

Run to block pile

carry back to the front breezeway since the rain was beginning to come down.

Next up was a tabata timed workout. 45 seconds on with 15 seconds of rest.

first round

45 seconds of curls for the girls 15 second rest

Curls while holding a lunge (one leg forward)

Repeat with other leg

Run to the end of the breezeway and back

Second round

Block lunges. Hold block like a goblet. Lunge from side to side

Bent over rows

Shoulder press

Third round

Block overhead lying down. Knees bent overhead and lift shoulders up

Next, straighten legs to overhead, Try to push block to shoe laces

third, Block chest press

Fourth round

static lunge while holding block like a goblet, next, switch leg

Same thing with the first leg, but go up and down while holding a lunge. Repeat with other leg

Run the breezeway

Fifth round

Shoulder press

Thruster

Block swing

Sixth round

Decline Markins

One hand merkins, each hand on block

Return blocks to the pile.
