Twas a gloomy Christmas morning as YHC approached the Crypt back from catching a couple of early miles desperate to make amends with the running gods after last weeks bout with the fungus that is among us and Exchange 2013. A sole Pax awaited my arrival. He-who-has-a-gate-named-after-him came from Turning Point to hopeful get his Christmas wishes fulfilled of a Triple Nickel. As the final seconds ticked away, what do we see in the distant gloom? With was a flash of light and and a boom. A Delorian appears and skids swiftly into a parking spot. As the swirl of gloom fades I realize that it wasn’t a Delorian after all but the green Thumbs Up-mobile. The Pax balled-up and with a quick prayer we moseyed on to get better.

As the Pax were doing their Merkins we noticed headlights shining on us. Looking up we see an approaching police car. Thumbs Up’s first instinct was to scream cops and start fleeing but Candy Stripe convinced him that we weren’t doing anything wrong. The passing officers had noticed our ninja-like agility and stealth-like speed and what surely had to look like three fleeing criminals and thought their quiet morning had just made a turn for the worse. Or maybe for the better? They did look awfully disappointed that we were just exercising. So anyway, after Barney Fife and his boy wonder sidekick departed we went back to more suck
