8 pax participated in what may have been the greatest Q that Shawshank has ever seen. The humidity was quite balmy, the grass was extra dewy, and the shovel flag was present. Not much more can or should be said, but that has never really stopped YHC. After enjoying a Full StrideLite with 3 other strong pax, the plan for boot camp was just starting to come together. Knowing full well the muscle group that makes or breaks a solid physique, the calves, YHC deviated from that knowledge and decided that abdominals would be the focus of the morning beat down session. Incorporating blocks seemed like a must as well, so we sprinkled in a Ken Doll favorite just for good measure. All in all, was it a perfect workout, probably, but the real question is did the pax enjoy it and get better? The answer to that question is a hard probably as well, but nobody is perfect and we forgive the pax for that anyway. Even as YHC reminisces on this morning while composing this narrative, delight fills my mind just knowing the betterment that was delivered to this fine group of men. Enough about the awesomeness of the morning and how much stronger the participants are now, as for the workout, here is how it went:

COP – All IC
Mosey to the Block Pile and grab a Block
Line up on the baseline and partner up
- Partner #1 does the called exercise(s) and keeps count of the total
- Partner #2 farmer carries to the 2nd Light Pole, leaves the blocks and moseys back to the baseline
- Flip flop once Partner #2 returns
- Rinse and Repeat until all exercise totals are complete
