14 men arrived at Seven Oaks Park in the early morning gloom for the first ever mid-week workout for #Strut. Sway led the faithful on a jaunt through some new territory.

Conditions: 72 degrees, overcast (but NOT raining)

Mosey out of construction site, run to bottom of Heartbreak Ridge, Partner up:
Wheelbarrow as far up the hill as you can, run rest of way to top, walk down

Run back to Parking Lot for Six Minutes of Mary (really more like 4 minutes):

  • Don’t forget the Ryan Rawl Memorial 5K on September 7th
  • It’s not too late to run the AmFibious 5K, although T-shirt deadline has passed. Donations to the F3 Foundation are appreciated.
  • After the workout, a park employee #BaggerVanced up to the BOM and asked “Who are you guys?” and insisted we speak to somebody named John at the park office. He was concerned for our safety in the gloom. An invitation for him to join us on Thursday was met with a wide-eyed look of panic and a quick departure.
