Today the HIMs of Surge proved yet again why in YHC’s humble opinion that they truly are the model. It wasn’t easy this morning…..PAX went down and PAX picked them up. With Memorial Day right around the corner and since YHC had never done a Murph before, the men of Surge took to the gloom for a rendition of this Hero WOD. Surge embodies the Leave No Man Behind mentality.
Here’s how it went:
Conditions: Low 70’s; Muggy-ish
Welcome, Disclaimer, No FNG, Opening Prayer
The Rendition:
All PAX run 1 mile
PAX pick a partner to take on the Murph….
Station 1-100 Pull Ups: Partner 1 begins Pull-Ups while Partner 2 either stands by until his partner needs a breather or does dealers choice Mary while they wait; When Partner 1 needs a break, Partner 2 picks up where Partner 1 left off until all 100 reps are completed.
Station 2-200 Merkins: Partner 1 begins Merkins while Partner 2 either stands by until his partner needs a breather or does dealers choice Mary while they wait; When Partner 1 needs a break, Partner 2 picks up where Partner 1 left off until all 200 reps are completed.
Station 3-300 Air Squats: Partner 1 begins Squats while Partner 2 either stands by until his partner needs a breather or does dealers choice Mary while they wait; When Partner 1 needs a break, Partner 2 picks up where Partner 1 left off until all 300 reps are completed.
