14 HIM swallowed the Red Pill and got after it.

Conditions: 66 Degrees. 85% Humidity.

The Thang:

  • Disclaimer then 10 Slow Count Merkins IC.
  • Mosey to Burn Boot Camp parking lot for 10 LBCs IC.
  • Mosey to bottom of Rutland.
  • EMOM: 10 hand release merkins then finish out minute with max rep big boy sit-ups.
    • PAX did 5 rounds EMOM and then took a break. Break consisted of sprint up Rutland Hill, hold air chair for 1 minute then mosey back to bottom. Rinse and repeat EMOM/hill sprint/Air chair x 2.
  • Return to Flag at fast pace without stopping. .5 miles.
  • Finished up with Mary. 10 Flutter kicks IC then hold 6 inches x 2.

Great job by Deville to “swallow” the urge to splash merlot and finish strong! Great to have Dos Equis out after a hiatus from F3. YHC took the opportunity to share some Truth Nuggets while we grinded out reps at the bottom of Rutland thanks to an ongoing study of QSource https://www.amazon.com/QSource-F3-Manual-Virtuous-Leadership/dp/1698352611 .

In F3 we have a choice to turn Pro or to continue the superficial life of an Amateur. Every morning we have a choice to take the Blue Pill (easy, false life) or the Red Pill (hard, true life). Movement gives birth to Acceleration that leads to Momentum and Momentum ultimately leads to Joy. The choice to take the DRP is the choice to gradually but consistently Accelerate your fitness level rather than merely staying in shape. Staying in shape is what Amateurs try to do. The choice of the DRP is the discipline to prepare yourself for whatever life throws at us so that we may be able to find contentment in all circumstances, not just the comfortable ones.

In short, post regularly for workouts. Strive to Accelerate during the workout and not merely go through the motions. Prepare yourself to truly Live Life!
