YHC is still dealing with a back injury, so our workout this morning was low impact and repetitive, with a bear crawl thrown in to keep us honest.
During the course of our workout, it was made clear to YHC that the Shawshank men are not in tune with classic cinema, with the exception of Revere. He was the only one who got the “Beavis and Butthead Do America” reference as well as the only one who seems to have a grasp on quotes from “Office Space.” This was discovered on Tuesday. The next Thirsty Thursday should include at least one of these timeless films.
Until next time, y’all keep it classy, Lexington.

Devo:
We all have our enemies, they are easy to pick from these days. It’s usually a person, but they can also be a thing, an emotion, or even an idea. Find yours and attack it through God’s grace. Ask Him to step in and help guide you through the pain, anxiety, or fear. Ask for strength, courage, and wisdom to fight the battle. This is what David did as he looked to God for help against his enemies in Psalms 6.
Psalm 6:6-10
6 “I am worn out from sobbing. All night I flood my bed with weeping, drenching it with my tears.”
7 “My vision is blurred by grief; my eyes are worn out because of all my enemies.”
8 “Go away, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping.”
9 “The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer.”
10 “May all my enemies be disgraced and terrified. May they suddenly turn back in shame.”
