YHC is still nursing a knee injury so any kind of running was out of the question. So decided to bring the PAX some dumbbells to play with. Was very pleased to see great attendance for a very Full Stride Light. Can’t wait to get back to running. Prayer and Disclaimer was given. Instruction were passed out. True to form, despite the instructions being very simple, certain pax needed everything explained several times over. You know who you are.
THE THANG:

Slaughter Starter – 20 Burpees.
Pair up with a partner of similar size. Pick an exercise from the white board. Every exercise will be performed with dumbbells. Partner One performs 10 reps of exercise with Dumbbells. Partner Two rests and takes over when partner One is done. Go back and forth until failure. Not allowed to stop just because it’s tough. We are looking for failure. Move on to next exercise after you can’t do any more reps.
There are various weights. (30, 35 , 50, 55, 60 lbs.) Goal is to pick a weight where you can do 10 difficult reps. Not impossible, just difficult. Everyone will be doing a different exercise at the same time. Pick an exercise that has the dumbbell weight you need. After you have gone thru every exercise go back around for round #2.

Merkins (No dumbbells)
Overhead Press
Goblet Squats
Curls
Alternating Chest Press.
If you finish all five exercises, start back over. Most Pax got 1 exercise of round 2 done before time called.
