No Burpees!

8 Pax forsake the comfort of their fartsacks to make the early journey to @F3Lex’s earliest AO, Turning Point. YHC heard tales of a certain QIC and a Pax who may or may not have a gate named after him making a road trip this morning. One has to wonder if they may have had the foresight into the revenge beatdown YHC was bringing after surviving the 55-burpees-is-a-warmup Q and decided to run to the comfort of the GY. That’s ok guys, at least the Nan’tan wasn’t skerd. All kidding aside burpees are not a warmup. I mean I need some little baby arm circles or something first. You gotta ease into these things. Don’t head straight to third base. Despite the hard work, the mumblechatter flowed like a group of alumni catching up over a beer at a tailgate (Man, I miss football season <wipes tear from eye>) Sorry got sidetracked there for a minute.

Mosey to track and around to field

Side straddle hop x 20

Thru the tunnel x 20

Mosey to benches

Dips x 10 IC

Step-ups x 10 each leg OYO

Burp and press to 10. (Burpee with 1 OH press then add 1 OH press each rep)

 

Mosey to track for..

Run like you stole them

partner up with someone of similar speed.

P1 takes all 4 bricks and runs like he stole them around the track.

P2 does 10 merkins and then chases P1 down and flip flop till back at start.

rinse and repeat with 20 squats

mosey back to brickpile to debrick

Moleskin:

  • T-claps to the Pax for the effort put in. Iron sharpens iron and these guys push me as much as I push them.
  • Running while carrying 4 bricks is tougher than it sounds. We have done this before but YHC obviously forgot the level of suck it entails.

  1. Easy there Mac, I caught that subtle call out. I’ll have you know that I had Graveyard doing wall burpees this morning. I ain’t skeered…okay, maybe a little when you start that running with 4 bricks crap!
