Nail Pop, You’re In! Here comes the Heater!!!

Weather: 61 degrees and a little humid.

5 PAX posted at Jumanji at the hands of YHC for a call to the bullpen.     Ranger was on the DL, so the GM called NP in to close the deal.  Get better soon Ranger.

BOM: Prayer by Nail Pop.

The thang:

Mosey to the grass behind outfield fence.

SSH x 30 IC

Mountain Climbers x 15 IC

Merkins x 15 IC

Burpees x 10 OYO

Mosey to the backside of the school for some Jacob’s Ladder x 2

–          Each time up you do 1 burpee and then you increase it by one each time up the hill till you get to 7. Then we are going to do it all over again and come back down. This is how it goes PAX.

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 = 56 burpees total

Great work by all PAX. Columbo pushed himself and got better this morning, just as the other PAX did as well.

Mosey to the big baseball field for some Usain Bolt

–          Each PAX would call out an exercise when it was his turn to run (foul pole to foul pole as fast as possible). Each PAX called out 2 exercise, therefore ran 2 poles each. YHC sure likes to run and work on the endurance aspect. Below is a list of exercises the PAX called out.

–          SSH and Flutter Kicks (Columbo)

–          Jump Lunges and Wide Arm Merkins (Nail Pop)

–          Prison Squats and Plankorama (Tuff Guy)

–          LBC’s and Iron Crosses (Inuit)

Mosey to the backstop and line up at home plate.

–          This exercise brings YHC back to his days at The Citadel. We had a drill and it was called + or -. The gist of the drill was if you performed the sign then you received a +, if you didn’t you received a minus. A – consisted of 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple, and 1 inside the park HR. The signs consisted of squeeze, slash, hit and run, bunt for a hit, and sacrifice. If you do the math, hopefully you are good at this exercise or you’re going to be smoked at the end of the practice. This morning YHC had given each PAX 2 minuses regardless of how good they were performing. After each run there was roughly 5 seconds of rest in between. Between both sets we enjoyed some Peoples Chair on the fence (one minute each set). Awesome job PAX. If you are a baseball fan, the small details of the game and execution is very important in deciding a number of games. This exercise will make an appearance @ Shawshank in the near future.

Mosey to track area for a little group Indian Run

–          We ran one lap around the complex on our way back to the shovel flag. 0.6 miles. Great work men.

Mary (Dealers Choice) – YHC asked the PAX to lead the exercises.

Heal Touches x 15 IC (Nail Pop)

BBSU’s x 15 OYO (Tuff Guy)

Freddie Mercury x 15 IC (Columbo)

Hello Dolly x 15 IC (Inuit)

Great work today PAX. Enjoyed the call from the bullpen. The Zookeeper challenged the PAX to be appreciative of your parents if you still have them around. Also challenged us to make intentional time for our kids and M’s. Thanks for sharing that brother. Nice work this morning PAX. YHC will definitely be back to hang with #TheHerd again #getbetter #F3Counts. Till next time.
