2 days shy of 6 years ago, YHC participated in his first F3 workout. As has been stated before, it was a memorable day. It was the first time I had heard the phrase “the workouts won’t get any easier, but you’ll get better”. This statement is one of the hallmarks of F3, and very true. The pax of BeechHouse continue to show up, get better, push each other and themselves. To celebrate 6 years, YHC drew up a leg day workout. This morning, the dirty dozen showed up for some fun. Here’s what it looked like:

Mosey up the hill to the block pile. Each pax grabs a block and moves to the end zone of the football field. There, the pax found 6 pain stations (to celebrate 6 years) . We put half the blocks at Station 2, the other half at Station 4.

Rosie: Prayers for discernment regarding son’s athletic future.
Although this is my 6 year anniversary, I have learned in F3 that it’s never about you. For me, it’s about the hundreds of men that have come into my life. The ones who have become my brothers in Christ, and in life. The fellowship, the prayers, the real conversations, the workouts, and of course the CSAUP (Completely Stupid And Utterly Pointless) events. I’ll forever be indebted to Ken Doll for being the one to get me into this. I’ve tried to pay it forward. I’m going to name some folks that really stick out:
BlindSide, NoHelp, Dunphy, Overage, Lego, Moist, DriSoket, Trackhoe, Navy Bean, Grave Digger, Meatball, Field Goal, Muggy Tape, Kenwood, Iron Mary, Scotch, Argyle, Juice, Meter, Paper Jam, Tu-Tu, All 9’s, Bar Crawl, Dirty Bird, Chum, Quisenberry, Notebook, Forrest, Wapner, Puck, and many, many more.
If I left you out, don’t be offended, I’m just tired of typing. You get the point. Like anything else, you get out of this what you put into it. God Speed and here’s to another 6 years!
