13 Pax converge to help celebrate YHC’s 1 yr anniversary and VQ. Some might expect cake and ice cream for their 1 yr but YHC got something better. 13 pax ready to #GetBetter. Great effort put in by all Pax. I did say something about there maybe some running and I did not want to disappoint.
Conditions; 70 degrees, clear skies and humid as all get out.

Line up for Indian Run around the two big Soccer Fields (the ones with 3 fields each)

TTT X 25IC
WM X 25IC
Line up on the far Sideline of the 3 Soccer fields and Count off 1&2s
1s – Sprint to the 1st bench and do 20 Merkins, then Sprint to the 2nd bench and do 20 BBSU, Sprint Back, 2’s do Plank Jacks until 1s return
Flap Jack
1s – Sprint to 1st bench and do 10 jump squats, Sprint to the 2nd bench and do 10 Burpees, Sprint Back, 2s do Flutter Kicks until 1s return
Flap Jack
Mosey to the Middle of one of the Soccer Fields for 6 minutes of pain
1 minute AMRAP of each of the following exercise that YHC calls out
Merkins , LBCs, Russian Twist, MTN climbers, Squats, Burpees
Mosey over to the other BIG Soccer Fields for 3- WIDE SUICIDE
(This was when YHC realized we didn’t start for enough back, so it turned into 2- Wide Suicide, but oh well, I can fix that)
Sprint to Each set of Large Light Poles and back
Rinse and Repeat (That’s how I fixed it)
Mosey back to the Shelter and grab a spot at the benches
20 Steps Ups / 20 Dips / 20 Box Jumps Rinse and repeat until YHC calls time (about 6 mins)

I can not believe it has been a year since my 1st time I stepped foot on the soggy grounds of Shawshank. If someone would have told me after that 1st day I would compete in 2 Mud Runs, a 5K, 10K, do 10K Merkins in a monthand bring my pace down from 9:30 per min to 7:30 per min, I would have probably looked at them funny. But I have accomplished this and many other things in the year that F3 came into my life. I owe a lot of the pax for these accomplishments, but 1 pax in particular has made me push myself past what I thought was my breaking point on occasion. (Thanks Buzzsaw) While the 1st F has certainly helped me, the 2nd Fis what I take with me through the day to help me become a better person. So here’s to a great year and what I am counting on to be an even better 2nd year.
