10-4 Good Buddy

With today being October 4th (aka, 10-4) we kinda dedicated the workout to Dangle and Ponch and any other law enforcement pax out there.  Thanks for all you do.

YHC pulled a favorite weinke out the recycle bin that typically gets the job done.  Today was no different.

Weather: nice and cool

1 minute warning, intro, disclaimer, no FNGs, prayer

Head to the block pile, grab one with handles if you can find it, and head towards the courtyard.  YHC has a speaker set up and Aerosmith ready to go.  Warm up with:

  • 10x SSHs IC
  • 10x Imperial Walkers IC
  • 10x Flutterkicks IC
  • 10x Jane Fonda’s IC

Ponch and Lil Sweet rolled in as we were finishing the Jane Fonda’s.  Probably a good thing as Lil Sweet might of questioned what he was getting into.

From there we bounced between where we set the blocks and the PVC pipes which were previously laid out.  Here is how things went down…

  • 10 bottles of beer: The PAX line up side-by-side, plank, relay merkin 10 pieces of PVC down the line where you grab a piece of pvc with your right hand, merkin, roll it to you left hand, merkin, pass it to the guy on the left, get another from your right.  Rinse and repeat until all pieces were passed down.  Set one piece off to the side.
  • First block exercise is 10x Block Jump Burpees
  • 9 bottles of beer (with the pvc going back the other way)
  • Next block exercise is 20x Block Thrusters
  • 8 bottles of beer (with the pvc going back the other way)
  • Next block exercise is 30x Block Bear Hug Squats
  • 7 bottles of beer (with the pvc going back the other way)
  • Next block exercise is 40x Block CFTGs
  • 6 bottles of beer (with the pvc going back the other way)
  • Next block exercise is 50x Block Toilet Squats
  • 5 bottles of beer (with the pvc going back the other way)
  • Next block exercise is 60x Block Overhead Presses
  • 4 bottles of beer (with the pvc going back the other way)
  • Next block exercise is 70x Vertical Block Feet Overs
  • 3 bottles of beer (with the pvc going back the other way)
  • Next block exercise is 80x Block Sumo Squats
  • 2 bottles of beer (with the pvc going back the other way)
  • Next block exercise is 90x Horizontal Block Feet Overs
  • 1 bottle of beer (with the pvc going back the other way)
  • Last block exercise is 100 yards Overhead Block Carry to the block pile to return blocks

Blocks were returned and we used the last minute for some egg rolls and stretching.
