The Ninja Q Arrives at #TurningPoint and Brings His Throwing Snowflakes With Him

(BB written by and posted for Nail Pop. Formerly “The Apologtic Q” now known as “The Ninja Q”.

6 FAITHFUL PAX posted for a #Weinkeless Q in the gloom and braved the rain, wind, and snowflakes.  Say What and Meatball actually arrived at the last minute from River Bluff.  Not sure if it was lightening at Crypt this morning, but it sure wasn’t at TP.  The fartsack wasn’t a bad option this morning.  The 6 crazy PAX that posted at TP definitely got better as mumble chatter was at a premium.  I guess we were doing anything we could to stay warm.  I was thinking about giving Spackle Tclaps because he was wearing shorts, but I’ll save that for another day.  Sounds like Spackle and Garmin need to get together and figure out how to prepare for the next day’s forecast.  I guess that’s why we say #RESPECT after your name.  You’re a beast sir.  It was exciting to see House as well when they rolled up.  Now on to the good stuff.

Weather:  Just cold, windy, rainy, snowy, and everything a duck likes (If I was a duck I loved this morning).

BOM: Prayer by Nail Pop.

The thang:

Line up on the wall for some Peoples Chair w/ a spoonful of Apple Sauce (bear crawl and crab walk)

–    Each person bear crawls to the end of the line w/ the rest of the PAX Peoples Chair till we get to the corner and then back (it worked out great because we all did the same amount of reps)

–    Rinse and repeat with crab walk (same result, everyone had the same reps)

Mosey to the Flag Poles and split up in 2 groups (3 PAX each)

–    1st group runs a loop around the parking lot while the 2nd group does Burpees

–    Rinse and repeat – Shoulder tap merkins

–    Rinse and repeat – Peter Parkers

Mosey to the front lawn at the entrance of the school

–    4 exercises for AMRAP Roughly 4-5 minutes (Fast Feet w/ Up Down’s on YHC’s call, SSH, Butt Kicks, and High Knees)

Mosey to the front of school and get under the breezeway out of the elements for a littleDirtyMacDeuce.  YHC asked for the PAX to come up with the exercises since we are all in this together.  Great work guys.  Mumble chatter was very high during these exercises.  YHC also was called out for doing the cadence at a whisper by Meatball towards the end of last rep.

3 exercises to a count of 12 IC (4 sets total) w/ roughly 20 seconds of rest in between each set – Carolina Dry Docks (Treadmill), Flutter Kicks (Meatball), and Squats (House)

Mosey back to the People’s Chair Wall where it all started after Warm-up.

–    Everyone line up on the wall and each PAX will bear crawl down and back the length of the wall w/ the others People Chair (Arms Up and Out on YHC’s call)

–    Rinse and repeat until everyone had gone

Mosey to the concrete tables for some upper body and leg work

  • 10 IC Decline Merkins
  • 10 IC Split leg squats w/ one leg on the concrete bench (rotate leg)

Mosey to a parking spot and pick a line.

–    100 quick feet jumps across the painted line (quick as you can)

Mosey to the cones that YHC set out in the pouring rain when he arrived.  What was I thinking, I guess just about getting better.

–    YHC was pressed for time, so we ran one all out suicide with 4 cones spaced about 10 yards apart.

Mary – 3 Minutes of Imperial Walkers for Walker.

Moleskin:

Great work today guys.  It was encouraging to see you all out in the nastiness this morning.  Thanks for letting a broken sinner like myself lead you all in the gloom.
