We Threw a 10K and a Runvergence Broke Out

Stumble and Amble both hold semi-regular 10Ks, so it seemed right to join forces. This month’s event was hosted by the pax of Stumble, with Amble set to return the favor in April. No doubt after today’s experience they’ll come up with something extra hilly. 28 pax showed up to shred the Eastside hills, tying the Stumble attendance record.

Conditions: Low 60s and a little muggy

The Thang:

Start: Parking lot entrance
Olde Knight > Galway > Saye Cut > Old Woodlands > Hampton Ridge > Marthas Glen > Indian Mound > Old Woodlands > Garners Ferry > Pelham > Gills Creek Parkway > Rosewood > Garners Ferry (#MotherOfMartha) > Veterans > Byron > Wormwood > Galway > Olde Knight
Finish: Corner of Olde Knight and Chambly

Ziffel (42:38)
Rosinbagger (~44:00)

Full results —If you posted and you don’t see your time here, it’s because you haven’t gotten it to YHC yet.

Moleskine:

  • Hot Tub held onto the trophy, which is fitting since he is the only winner to have actually signed it so far.
  • Thanks to Crab Daddy for the visit and the #RaceOfficial duties. Check out his video of the start.
  • How great was it having 2 pax on the DL (Full Monty on the bike & Crab Daddy on the starting gun) and one fresh off a marathon (Kenny G) in attendance just because they wanted to post? That’s some strong 2nd & 3rdF right there.

Announcements:

  • Get to the Green 15/10/5K, March 18
  • Get in the Pink 10/5K, May 13, Schweddy’s M on the Q. There will likely be an F3 discount.
  • Daybreak 10 Miler / 5K, April 8, organized by Bundy

Pipeline out.
