Turn on your phone, open your calendar app, and select April 29th at 5:30 pm. Title the event “F3- Palmetto Place Hump Day Happy Hour at River Rat Brewery.” Then encourage all F3 men to show up for a beer and a chance to hear about our “Third F” initiative at Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter. (Twitter, facebook, and at workouts.)
This is not going to be your normal Hump Day Happy Hour. Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter wants to say, “Thank You” and share the details of the impact we are having at the shelter. We have started a great project, but there are more opportunities to come.
At 5:45 we will have a quick presentation from the Executive Director Erin Hall. We want to thank everyone for what yall have done collectively as F3 and, for some of you, what you have done personally beyond the F3 events. Further, we will share details on our Capital Campaign and how you can participate in the support.
We can also take time to potentially discuss how F3 can participate in a non-financial capacity. With the improvements to the home, we could take a day to offer our labor to paint a few walls, or something similar. Could be a lot of fun!
We will be joined by Palmetto Place Board members, and we will be welcoming members from Fia, as the effort will be expanding to include their group as well.
It is not required but if you can give us a HC for the event, so we can tell River Rat Brewery to expect us. Not necessary, but would be nice to know approximately how many people might show up.
