Man In The Mirror

28 PAX came out in the Gloom on the last day of February to brave the Frigid 54 degrees so typical of a harsh South Carolina winter.  As this was my Virgin Q, I was more concerned that a.) no one would show up and I would lead a group of “one” or b.) PAX would actually show up only to watch me pass out from calling cadence and fail to save enough oxygen for the actual exercise.  Much to my surprise, the fear of passing out was as much of an adrenaline push as doing the exercise and the turn out on a February morning was more than I could have imagined.The focus today was the Man in the Mirror and thus we took a stab at changing that image we see in the Mirror each day.  It is important to note that images in the mirror are backwards to the actual image and that is how we approached the exercises this morning!Disclaimer/IntroductionCOPSSH X 15 IC

SSH X 15 ICTHE THANG-Mirror RunGet Bricks and find a Partner and head to corner of Rectory and Fair.Hallelujah run to corner.  One partner completes 20 Merkins and the other partner does Squats until merkins complete.  Partners Switch exercise and hold plank until everyone is done.Hallelujah run to next corner.  One Partner completes 30 Bench Presses and the other does BBSU until done/ Swap exercise and then hold six inches until done.Hallelujah run to next corner.  One partner completes 20 Shoulder Presses and the other partner does lunges until done/swap exercises and then hold air chairHallelujah run to next corner.  One partner completes 25 Bent rows and the other does Curls until done/swap exercises.  Hold air chairMIRROR- REPEAT THE ABOVE IN REVERSE ORDER until return to original AO corner!JACOB’S LADDER TAG at The TENNIS COURTSPartners Line up opposite each other on the tennis courts.Partner A does 10 Burpees while Partner B does LBC.  When Partner A is done with Burpees, he runs to relieve Partner B who then runs to the other side to do 8 Burpees while Partner A does LBC.  One partner is always doing LBC while the other is laddering down the Burpees until you get to 5.10Burps/LBC tag partner

Merkins X10 ICCOT-Counterama = 28 Pax with 4FNG!  Awesome Turnout.BOM!Closing Thoughts:  I am humbled by the turn out but more of the continuous encouragement from the “F3Camden” PAX.  It is hard to believe that we started this group less than 8 weeks ago and in that short period of time, we have worked our way up to 3 Boot Camps a week and run groups on alternate days.  Momentum is building so keep up the great work and continue to focus on the Man in the Mirror!
