Put the men through a block workout today. We kept running to a minimum, but we still pushed our bodies with a lot of lifting. I want to welcome Lochte (FNG) to the Sandlot crew.
The Warm-up:
10 mercans IC, 20 flutter kicks IC
The THANG:
Started with an Indian Block Run. We ran around a football field one and a half times.
Started with a Block Dora:
The “running” part of the Dora included walking with the block over your head for 50 yards, then turn around and bicep curl the block on the way back.
The exercise portion of the Block Dora included the following:
300 chest press
200 squats
100 King Kongs
50 Block Burpees
Various block AMRAPs were performed while waiting after each round.
Finished up with various block exercises: 75 calf raises (25 toes out, 25 toes straight, 25 toes in), 20 Russian twists double count, 25 hello dollies (holding brick above chest), and lastly 120 count around the clock switching between six inches and an iron cross-legs up holding position.
