Miles for Mark, Jr

We normally speed around the track at The Bounty but today was about running miles for Mark Juergens, Jr. His story taken from the Run Hard registration page is in the moleskin below.

A larger than normal crowd ran around LHS campus at a nice and easy pace and totaled 67 miles for the cause.

Conditions: low 40s, slight mist

The Thang:

Shared a little about Mark, Jr

Disclaimer, Count off, BOM

Moleskin:

Mark Jr. is a 6th grade student at Gilbert Middle School. He was diagnosed with nodular sclerosis Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in October of 2020. Mark Jr.’s mom is a teacher in Gilbert and all 3 of Mark Jr.’s sisters go to Gilbert schools. Mark Jr.’s dad is a police officer. Mark Jr. is a smart guy who loves karate, deer hunting and fishing. His favorite color is blue. Mark Jr. and his family have a long journey ahead of them and we want to ease the burden where we can. All funds will go straight to the Juergens family.
