YHC saw an opening on the Q sheet and figured it would be good to venture out to The Hollow for YHC to get back to where it all started. It was good to be back and meet some of the PAX that have started since YHC moved over to Surge as the home base. Wanted to try something a little different today and hoped that it would challenge the PAX and have a little IPC feel to it.
Now to start the workout:
No FNGs, disclaimer, and prayer.
Mosey to around Front Parking Lot: SSHx15 IC, TTTx10 IC, Imperial Walkersx20IC.
We stayed in place and started the EMOM workout which is good to get the heart rate up:
EMOM 10rounds/10min
5 merkins
5 squats
5 burpees
Burpee Count: 50
Next, we moseyed to the block pile and PAX partner up…YHC explained that for this workout, one PAX does AMRAP block exercise from the board, while the other runs to the end of breezeway and back.
The kicker: Both PAX do 3 burpees EMOM during exercise.
Exercises:
Alternating Merkins
Squats
Blockees
Curls for Girls
Kettlebell swings
OH Press
Thrusters
Tricep extension
Chest Press
Flutter kicks
After 25 rounds of this one, it was 6:00am and was time to head to the SF as recover was called.

Total Burpee Count: 125

Watch Your Tongue
He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity. (NIV) ( Proverbs 21:23 )
Sometimes emotions can get the best of us and cause us to say words we don’t truly mean. Or we are charged with emotions and choose words with different implications than we intended. When you get in this state do your best to stabilize and then try to communicate emotions when you can better watch your tongue.
