BOMBS @ Turning Point

Weather:  Warm and humid

The Thang:  Disclaimer given at 5:00 followed by prayer, then moseyed toward teacher’s parking lot.   10-20 yds of high knees and butt kicks on the way.

Circled up in the teachers lot for SSH, TTT, LBAC forward and reverse, Slo Mo Mercan, and Slo Mo Squat, all 10 IC.  From there moseyed to the block pile to retrieve a block and head to the nearby basketball court.

Pax lined up along the baseline with their blocks and partnered up with the person beside them.  A 5 minute timer was set for each of five exercises.  one pax did the exercise while partner competed 20 reps of another exercise then returned to baseline to do the called exercise and his partner completed 20 reps, rotating until time expired.  Exercises and corresponding reps were:

  • Block Press or Shoulder Press with step ups on bench
  • One Call Mercans (like hand release release) with calf raise at picnic tables
  • Manmakers with curls
  • BBSU with Blocks with dips on bench
  • Block Squats with Body Rows 

Returned blocks then moseyed to the teachers lot and lined up for indian run back to shovel flag.

Circled up for dealers choice mary.  All exercises completed at 20 reps.  Started with BBSUs, Rosalitas, flutterkicks, Heel Touches, LBCs, BBSUs, Iron Crosses
